When you come to German Village for lunch, you must try the famous Handdorf Inn, which is known as the most authentic German food. The most famous one is the German pork knuckle and German round bread. We ordered a set meal, 75 dollars a portion. Our family of three ate it, but we couldn't finish it. Look at the amount. Looking around, basically it was indeed not completely eaten up. In terms of taste, the pork knuckle is similar to that in China, tender and chewy. It's just a little salty, lacking some of the other flavors in China. There are not many surprises in sausages, but it may be better to use it as a porridge. The decoration in the restaurant is OK, simple and plain, but very refreshing. The diners are tourists from all over the world, like a world canteen. It is recommended that if there are many people, you can order a set meal like us, which can be finished, or order it a la carte, unless you want to take it home as a midnight snack.

A very nice coffee shop, quite grand, with many desserts. The smiley face cookies are very good, and the advertisement says that eating them will make you happy all day. The beef inside is also good, although it is a simple meal.

We really enjoyed the food and service at Oscar’s however they did not have our booking. They did have a table free though. We booked through The Fork, but will book direct in future.

We enjoyed the warmth from the table we sat at near the open fire. It was a cold night and the steak and schnitzel were enjoyed. We will be back again. The staff were very good.

Although the famous Michelin Guide is very popular in Europe and the United States, in Australia, where "foodies" gather, the Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hat Awards is a unique food benchmark. The more chef hats a restaurant gets, the higher the score it gets, and "3 hats" have the highest score. Here is a collection of the most worthwhile restaurants in Australia, providing you with a convenient and classic restaurant exploration guide. This year, there are six restaurants in McLaren Vale on the list. When you visit here, you might as well put them on your check-in list to get the ceiling of food here. Maxwell Restaurant Some people say that McLaren Vale has the best local dining in Australia, but few people know that part of this reputation is made by Maxwell Restaurant. The restaurant was founded in 1969 and was one of the few wineries with its own restaurant at the time. Maxwell Restaurant has always advocated fresh food and uses seasonal products from local suppliers. At the same time, Chef Fabian Lehmann draws inspiration from his experience around the world and cleverly combines the food culture of various places. For example, the nutty Monforte cheese from the 28th district on the spätzle shows the German flavor from the innovative application of ingredients; while the scallop slices are paired with ingredients such as yuzu pepper to form a delicate dish full of Japanese flavor. Maxwell wine is the star product on the wine list. In addition, from elegant champagne to mellow Barolo, it also adds more layers and flavors to the entire dining experience. The Kitchen at Bec Hardy The Kitchen at Bec Hardy is a chef's hat restaurant with "2 hats", which was converted from a wine shed. A large oak barrel is still placed in the corner of the restaurant. The rustic barn style combined with high-quality decoration creates an elegant atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself in the experience of food and wine. Influenced by her father's wine business, founder Bec founded Bec Hardy Wines and became the first woman in the family to own a vineyard and produce her own wine. Today, her Tipsy Hill Estate is still providing the restaurant with original, pure and fresh products. D’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant D’ Arenberg has always been a popular winery tour destination, attracting many tourists with its unique Rubik’s Cube shape. D’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant, located in D’Arenberg, is also a popular restaurant, often booked out weeks in advance. Located in a 19th-century homestead, the rolling hills and vineyards create a romantic and leisurely dining scene for the restaurant. D’harry’s menu changes with the seasons, and is committed to providing diners with the freshest local products and the best food experience. Serafino Restaurant Serafino Restaurant has a refined dining environment, presenting diners with an excellent dining experience through attentive service and a contemporary menu full of international flavors. In addition to the high-end decoration, the restaurant also overlooks Lake McLaren, allowing you to enjoy delicious food with beautiful scenery. The restaurant's R&D team keeps up with current food trends and allows the natural flavors of each dish to reach the taste buds directly. It is unique in its authentic and unpretentious cooking style and is committed to becoming the "Taste of McLaren Vale". The Currant Shed The architectural prototype of The Currant Shed was originally built in the early 20th century as a raisin-making hut, which was later sold by the Hoffmann couple to the operator Emily. With her experience working at the famous restaurant Star of Greece, Emily created The Currant Shed between the interlaced lime groves and vineyards, which is known for its attractive seasonal dishes. This is a stylish restaurant that provides tourists with a paradise for drinking, eating and staying. From carrots grown in ancient methods to locally caught Australian lungfish, paired with freshly picked vegetables from the restaurant, the chefs are committed to creating avant-garde seasonal fusion cuisine. Star of Greece Star of Greece is a gem on the Philae Peninsula, blending with the blue sea and sky, letting the sea breeze brush your cheeks, bringing the salty freshness of the sea and the warmth of the sun. As far as the eye can see, the sea surface meets the endless blue sky, as if there is no boundary between the sea and the sky, and everything is integrated. Star of Greece is an invitation from the world's people to gourmet food at the place where the sea and the sky meet, whether you are wearing flip-flops or a suit. Here is a simple and authentic fresh food, fresh seafood and local produce, not only presenting a bright color and texture, but also showing unparalleled superiority in taste and flavor. Here, the essence of food is perfectly interpreted, and at the same time, the wines provided by the restaurant complement the food, the place and the occasion. From fish and chips to three or four simple meals in the restaurant, and leisurely time drinking on the deck, Star of Greece will take you to see the beautiful sea view and taste pure food.

Gourmet House Chinese Restaurant specializes in Northeastern cuisine, and the portions are really generous. This restaurant is doing good business, and when we went there, the upstairs and downstairs were almost full.
